Hi there! I want to chat with you about the number one question that my clients have prior to their portrait sessions which is, “What should we wear?!” I am here to help! I am going to be popping in here with weekly wardrobe advice because, I get it. It can feel overwhelming to try and coordinate outfits for your whole family that go together, but don’t feel too match-y match-y. It can definitely be a bit daunting. What you wear sets the tone for your images, so it can feel like a task that is just too much.
Check back here every Thursday for a tip, or a colour palette, or a glimpse into my curated studio wardrobe which is available for all my clients to borrow from for their redwagon portrait sessions.
The first and best piece of advice that I give to all of my clients is: Be Prepared. What you’re wearing is not a day-of-the-session type of decision – trust me! Plan ahead so that you’re not racing around last minute trying to find the perfect whatever (& then having to wash and iron it!)
Knowing in advance what you’re wearing will take away a lot of the stress of “picture day”.
