I know that this may not be your first impulse, but spring is a great time for family photographs in Edmonton!
Once the snow is melted and it dries up, spring can look amazing at the field! The light is spectacular, there are no bugs yet, and the sun is going down at a reasonable time, which is helpful if you have small children. How many more reasons do you need?!
