Preparing For a Connected Portrait Session | YEG Inspired Guest Blog

I was lucky enough to be asked to guest blog over at YEG Inspired last week! YEG Inspired is a free Edmonton based motherhood magazine that focuses on encouraging, empowering and supporting mothers and building connections within our communities.  The quarterly publication “celebrates life as mother in the capital city, sharing inspiring articles and personal essay’s from local writers along with featured partners”.  I was so honoured to be the very first guest blogger!  I wrote an article to help families prepare for a Connected Portrait Session that captures real emotion.

The article gives some background to the way that the photographer needs to approach a connected  session in order to capture genuine emotions, as well as tips and ideas to help you, the subject, achieve those connections with your family while you’re being photographed.

Check out the article and download my free guide for more tips on  “Creating Organic Portraits and Connected Images” 🙂
