I know that a lot of photographers will not do newborn sessions after baby is a certain age. Honestly, I recommend that newborn sessions happen within the first 14 days too. But because of my very natural posing, and baby-led approach I have really good success with taking photos of newborns older than what might be considered “ideal”. Setting expectations is key, because a newborn that is older doesn’t curl up in quite the same way that they did when they were brand new, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have gorgeous images of your new baby all curled up and sleeping like an angel. This sweet girl was around 8 weeks at her session and it could not have gone better!
