Having a new baby can be overwhelming… especially when it’s your first! If you had intentions of a booking a newborn session once your bundle arrived, and then suddenly a month has passed, don’t worry! Although some photographers will tell you that it’s too late and that you’ve missed the “newborn window”, trust me: it isn’t and you haven’t.
While it’s true that once newborns are older than two weeks they don’t curl up in quite the same way as when they were brand new, we can still make beautiful images of your older newborn. My approach to all newborn sessions is very baby-led, which means that it isn’t as important to me that I use the same formula and poses at each session.
Just like these first glimpse images (this sweet girl was seven weeks at her session), we can still create lovely intimate family images and gorgeous wrapped baby alone portraits on the beanbag.
Oh, and just like this mama did, you can borrow a dress from the studio wardrobe so you don’t even have to worry that you don’t fit in to any of your clothes yet! 💃
So mama, if you think you’ve missed out and are feeling regret that you didn’t book anything, this is for you- IT’S NOT TOO LATE 💓Reach out and I’ll fill you in on my process and send you all the details!
