How are you doing?
For real. How are you?
Please drop me a line (jamie[at]redwagonphotography.ca) & let me know… tell me if you’re struggling, or a funny story about working from home with your kids, or whatever happens to be on your mind.
I want to start by saying that whatever you’re feeling – it’s okay. It’s okay to be sad, or scared. It’s okay to be optimistic. It’s okay to delight in this unprecedented time with your kids. It’s okay to find them super annoying on occasion. Whatever you’re feeling at any given moment, it is okay. I go through the gamut of emotions on the daily. We need to give ourselves and others grace as we adapt. We need to be gentle & know that whatever we’re doing is enough.
You are enough. We actually are all in this together and together is how we’ll make it out the other side.
What crazy times we are living in. Like most of you, I have been processing & trying to figure out what this “new normal” requires of me… what should I be putting out there? What is allowed; what feels good and might be helpful? As a non-essential business, I am currently not photographing any sessions and am effectively closed until further notice.
So, like most things in life right now, the fourth annual Motherhood Event, which was scheduled for April 25, has been postponed until this all settles down. It will be an amazing event when it finally happens and include hair and make-up from True Beauty MakeUp Artistry, a swag bag full of goodies & access to the studio wardrobe (which has some gorgeous new pieces for you and your littles) Sign up to join me at The Yummy Light Cafe to get all the details first!
If you’d like to chat about a maternity, newborn or family session for whenever-this-is-over, get in touch! I think that once life resumes, we will need connection and to celebrate our families more than ever. We can schedule a phone chat, or hop on Zoom call and I can learn about your family and we can talk about how a redwagon session works.
Some days are good and some days…not so much. I’m getting really wrestless now after over a month of quarantine.
