My favourite thing about being an Edmonton newborn photographer is capturing the beginning of a new family. Whether it’s a first baby, like sweet Damian, whose arrival made his mama and dad parents, or a new addition to a family that already has littles, it is the beginning of a new chapter. Every new baby brings a sense of fresh starts, endless possibilities, and hearts full of a love previously unknown.
I love photographing babies as they are, using Baby Led Posing to let their distinct personalities shine through. I love baby details: their little lips, fingers, toes, swirls of hair and flaky skin. The family images though, are the most important. Capturing baby snuggled into mama, curled up in daddy’s arms, or getting a gentle kiss from a sibling is where my heart truly is. These are the images that your baby will look back on as he grows. These portraits capture the love that you’ve had for her since the very beginning. These are the legacy moments; the images that will be shared with your grandchildren.
