Edmonton family portraits in the rain…. it shouldn’t be a surprise to any of you with the “summer” that we are having! Rescheduling for uncooperative weather is something I do regularly and often encourage, but sometimes there is a point where a session can’t be rescheduled again and you just have to hope that a 40% chance of rain means that it won’t, and go ahead. Then, when it rains the ENTIRE time, you break out the umbrellas and make the best of it! I love this images of these sweet sisters and Murphy, their adorable puppy. There was much laughter, even though this session was a bit damper than I was intending! Sometimes, even when something doesn’t go as you’d hoped, the outcome can still be something perfect and lovely, even as it is unexpected.
