The Hambling clan, whom I’ve known *forever*, are pretty much family. Barb has been my best friend since junior high and I spent a lot of my formative years hanging out at their house, helping Barb torment her younger sister. Everybody’s all grown up now (even me!) and I’ve gotten to photograph all of the milestones: weddings, new babies, and business portraits for dad (who is a Realtor). So this extended family session on Thanksgiving weekend at their place just outside of Barrhead, was like coming home. I actually got Thanksgiving dinner out of it too…. not a bad deal at all! Plus they’re gorgeous, have had gorgeous kids, and are super fun to boot. I win!
