COVID-19 Studio Session Safety Precautions

Phase 2 of Alberta’s Relaunch Strategy was implemented on Friday, June 12. Photographers have been cleared to begin photographing studio sessions, with some additional precautions, even where social distancing cannot be maintained. I have introduced some new COVID-19 studio session safety precautions to keep all of my clients safe. I am taking all precautions & recommendations as advised, & will apply them to all my portrait sessions.

In addition to my regular cleaning routine after each session, I will be taking these steps to ensure the safety of my clients while they are at the studio

Health Measures

Before each session I regularly monitor my temperature. I ask that clients check their temperature too before coming to the studio. Disposable masks are kept on hand at the studio for client use and I will wear a mask during the session.

Personal Hygiene

I always wash my hands thoroughly before, during and after each session. Hand Sanitizer is also kept out in the shooting area at all times. Please ensure you wash your hands well for at least 30 seconds before leaving your house, as well as upon arriving at the studio.

Studio Cleaning Policy

After each session, the studio is deep cleaned. I sanitize every surface that can possibly be touched before and after sessions so that germs aren’t spread between clients. All surfaces are wiped with disinfectant wipes. Every backdrop, wrap and prop used during the session is washed/sanitized and any gowns that are worn are cleaned. At this moment no outside props are allowed in the studio.

48 Hours Between Studio Sessions

Until further notice I will only be scheduling ONE studio session every other day to ensure 48 hours between time for thorough sanitization and cleaning. Also for the time being, sessions will be limited to immediate family only.

Sick Policy

redwagon photography has a strict no-sick policy.

Clients are required to disclose and reschedule the session if any member of their immediate family is sick or have had a fever or any other symptoms such as cough, runny nose or vomiting in the last 24 hours . To reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible. There is no fee to reschedule.
