To say that I am excited about the news from the Alberta Government last week would be an understatement. I miss my clients terribly & am very excited that I am able to start photographing families outdoors! I am hopeful that studio sessions will follow within the next couple of weeks. That will, of course, depend on the guidelines that are released as more details for Alberta’s Relaunch Strategy are announced. I have introduced some new COVID-19 safety precautions for outdoor sessions going forward.
The health & safety of my clients is a top priority as I begin to be cleared to operate my small, low volume, low traffic business. I would like to reassure you that I am taking all precautions & recommendations as advised, & will apply them to all my portrait sessions.
These are the steps I will be taking to keep my sessions clean & safe
COVID-19 Safety Precautions

Outdoor Family Sessions
Until I am able to open the studio, all sessions will be held outdoors in the fresh air to minimize contact.
From a Distance
I will be photographing all outdoor sessions with a long lens to make sure I keep a safe 6’ distance from my clients.
Disinfecting While Outdoors
I will arrive at each session with wet wipes and hand sanitizer and will use those throughout the session . I will also have a mask with me and am happy to wear it for the duration of our session if that makes you more comfortable. Please let me know.
No Personal Contact Policy
In the spirit of “social distancing” I will avoid any personal contact with my clients during the session, including : hand-shaking, hugging, & moving/touching hair or clothes. I will do my best to direct you from a safe distance.
Only One Session Per Day
Only one portrait session will be scheduled per day to ensure time for sanitizing of equipment & to minimize the risk to my clients.
Sick Policy
redwagon photography has a strict no-sick policy.
Clients are required to disclose and reschedule the session if any member of their immediate family is sick or have had a fever or any other symptoms such as cough, runny nose or vomiting in the last 24 hours . To reschedule , please contact me as soon as possible. There is no fee to reschedule.
